Being a Kind Leader
Living Your Values

Kind leaders are values transparent. Kind leaders are trustworthy because their actions and values align. And kind leaders are happier in part because they’re being kind to themselves by living their values, and their lives have meaning in ways that are deeply satisfying to them – even in situations where there are significant values differences.

Join Dr. Robin Denise Johnson for what is much more than an eLearning course – this is an in-depth exploration of what values are and a self-assessment that guides you to choose your five most important core values.

ouch that stereotype hurts, how to speak up against stereotypes

This course is divided into three main sections:

    • Values Inventory – you will read through a list of 160 values, with their definitions, iteratively selecting those that are important to you until you have selected your core five values.
    • Values Clarification Assessment – you will determine how you use and share your values.
    • Tips and Tools – section you will learn ways to use the information and insights from this course to Live Your Values.

Dr. Robin Denise Johnson has been teaching Values Clarification, Values-based Decision-Making, and Understanding the Impact of Cultural Values at the university level for decades.

People who have done these values clarification activities report that getting clear about what matters most, and then living in ways consistent with their core values, enriches their lives and improves the quality of relationships they have with others.
